The Innovate Moldova program is funded by SIDA and implemented by the Foundation for Advancement of Moldova. It aims to strengthen Moldova’s innovation ecosystem, enhance business resilience, and accelerate the country’s transition to a knowledge-based economy.
The program supports workforce development, EU market integration, and increased competitiveness in key growth sectors: Information and Communication Technology (ICT), the digital economy, the startup ecosystem, the creative industries, and light manufacturing.
As part of project activities, Innovate Moldova is required to conduct a mid-term project evaluation, in order to independently assess the relevance, coherence, effectiveness, efficiency, sustainability, and emerging impact of the Innovate Moldova Programme, including both the Sida-funded core programme and the complementary UK/FCDO GGF-funded contribution.
