- Project Objective
The purpose of this tender is to award the serial production of a high-quality foldable tool cabinet made of stainless steel 1.4301 (V2A) to a qualified metal fabrication company located in Europe or an associated region (preferably the Republic of Moldova or neighboring countries). The supplier shall carry out complete manufacturing, assembly, and packaging.

The cabinet is a robust, portable tool and storage cabinet made of stainless steel 1.4301 (V2A) featuring a foldable body construction, triple locking system, and an electronic combination lock. It is intended for industrial and mobile applications.

Sheet thickness: approx. 2–3 mm
Surface: Brushed finish (irregular pattern from deburring machine)

- Scope of Supply and Services
The contractor is responsible for complete technical implementation based on the provided construction drawings (PDF / DXF).
Tasks Include
Material procurement according to specification (1.4301 V2A)
Cutting, bending, welding, and deburring of all components
Surface finishing (brushing / deburring per sample)
Assembly including hinges, lock, wing screws, handles
Functional testing (locking system, folding mechanism, fit)
Packaging and shipment preparation (export packaging, palletizing)
Optional delivery CIF Hamburg or DAP Hamburg
- Quality Requirements
Dimensional tolerances: ISO 2768-mK
Welded structures: EN ISO 13920-BF
Thermal-cut tolerances: EN ISO 9013-IA
Visual inspection for dimensional accuracy, surface, and functionality
Electronic lock must be CE-compliant / OEM-compatible
Mandatory Certification: Supplier must hold a valid ISO 9001:2015 certificate. → A copy of the certificate must be submitted with the quotation.
- Quantities / Variants
Series 1: Pilot batch – 10 units
Series 2: Main production – 50 to 100 units per year
Packaging unit: 1 unit per box or pallet
- Delivery Time / Production Schedule
Pilot batch: Delivery within 8 weeks after order confirmation
Main series: 10–12 weeks after pilot approval
Option for a 12-month framework agreement
